Our Communications
When an organization joins Refugee Alliance International we ask for their e-mail address (along with physical address, telephone, and other contact information) which are then entered into our database. Member organization names are published on our website in our membership directory (with permission) and all contact information is kept confidential and is not shared without permission.
Refugee Alliance International periodically mails its members items. However, our primary form of communication is via e-mail and our website.
E-mail and Web
Refugee Alliance International e-newsletter is sent to our active members periodically. It is also available on our site.
We send an e-mail to all e-mail addresses in our database providing updates on Refugee Alliance International and our campaigns. Occasionally, Refugee Alliance International will send an e-mail notice to members on a matter that we deem important or timely that will not make it into our monthly newsletter.
Refugee Alliance International does not share, rent, or sell its member list, or other mailing lists, with any individual or organization with the following exception:
Surveys
From time-to-time, we may ask members to participate in surveys. Participation is voluntary. We may ask contact and/or demographic information to follow up on any survey questions. Survey information is shared publicly only in the aggregate; Refugee Alliance International will not share individual organization’s answers or contact information. On occasion, comments made in response to survey questions may be published in an anonymous manner or with permission. The information collected will be used to better serve our nonprofit.

Donor Privacy Policy
Refugee Alliance International is committed to respecting the privacy of donors. We will not sell, share or trade our donors’ names, personal information (including name, address, telephone number, email address, giving information, and events attended) with any other entity, nor send mailings to our donors on behalf of other organizations. Refugee Alliance International's donor information is shared with staff, board members, volunteers, and consultants only on a ‘need-to-know’ basis.
To the extent any donations are processed through a third-party service provider (chairitystack.com), our donors’ information will only be used for purposes necessary to process the donation.
