Provide essential relief services to Palestinian refugees in Aida Refugee Camp
Aida Youth Center is partnering with Imam Khalid Latif (Islamic Center, New York University) and Refugee Alliance International to urgently support Palestinian refugees living in Aida Refugee Camp, through Humanitarian Relief, Healthcare Services, and Educational Support.
Aida Youth Center, a refugee-led organization, lies at the heart of the community of Aida Refugee Camp, in Bethlehem, Palestine. Through direct relief programs, academic and psychosocial support, we have been responding to Aida refugees’ needs since 1968. Aida Youth Center is striving to meet the needs of all Aida Refugee Camp’s residents. However, it has become increasingly difficult due to the funding cuts to crucial international support agencies, skyrocketing unemployment, and the ongoing struggles faced by refugees in Palestine.
Aida Youth Center needs your support this Ramadan so we can provide essential relief services to Palestinian refugees in Aida Refugee Camp.

How Your Donations Support Aida Refugee Camp
With your donations we are providing Humanitarian Relief, Healthcare Services, and Education Support.
As a community-led organization, we are part of Aida Refugee Camp’s social fabric and respond to the refugees’ immediate and long-term needs. Your donations will provide families in need with Humanitarian Relief food packages. Aida Youth Center will provide Medical Support to refugees in the camp who are struggling to afford the cost of medical treatment including: emergency operations, treatments, and medicine. Your donations will Support Education, by directly aiding our Academic Support Program, providing children who are struggling in school with educational and psychosocial support. The Education Program will ensure children receive the additional support needed to develop crucial life skills. The Education Program is currently supporting 85 children, however with your support we will be able to expand to meet the needs of the rest of the children within the camp. Aida Refugee Camp’s schools are extremely overcrowded with a ratio of 1 teacher to 45-49 students. Children also face constant trauma and disruption, due to the unsafe living conditions within the refugee camp. Aida Youth Center’s building was destroyed in 2004. With your donations this Ramadan, we can finish rebuilding and create more classrooms to welcome more children.
Why is this important?
Palestinian refugees are faced with worsening living conditions as international support and attention dwindles. We are dependent on the generosity of Muslims worldwide to continue our work. Your donations will allow us to provide more refugee families with the direct aid and resources they need.
We ask for your support this Ramadan to meet the urgent food, medical and educational needs of the refugee families within Aida Refugee Camp. Please donate today and become a valued supporter in our mission! JazakAllah khayr.
